They just poured the ground floor concrete slab on Sunday (yes, we've seen a lot of the concrete truck over the last few days). The wet concrete is held in by formwork, which was knocked off today. The guys are now starting to move upwards.. and started work on the columns today.We try to go onto the house site every day, to check that everything is in order. Although it was a late start today. We went to the "Reggae Pub" last night, for the bar's 19th birthday celebrations (which included live music and loads of fireworks). We got home around 2am - after an entertaining ride home in a songthaew (back of a pick up truck, local style taxi).

Don't hope they filled up the swimming pool!
